My goal is to encourage and help women & kids (my husband, Andy, coached the men's side through our over-arching coaching company, MADE) to be the strongest and most inspiring versions of themselves - mentally and physically. I do this through providing a positive and supportive environment where clients can learn the foundations and skills of mountain biking, can hone their intermediate-expert skills & increase their confidence while skiing, and to build a strong skill set to stand up paddle board on lakes and rivers - as well as create training & nutrition plans to get you out trail running and reaching your health and wellness goals. Our final Cowgirl Camp with Kinship Trail Rides | Ellensburg WA of 2026 is coming up on October 9th — do I sense a “sick day” coming your way?!

(Beginner focus, but all levels are welcome)

These days include an introduction workshop + safety briefing followed by a basic horsemanship skills workshop including steering, stopping, turning your horse around - All the things to build your skills and confidence!

Even if you’ve never ridden a horse, we’ve got you! Following this workshop, Christina from Kinship Trail Rides | Ellensburg WA will teach you the barrel patterns and the pole bending patterns! This is your chance to learn to barrel race, ladies!

After our 3 hours with the horses, we will enjoy a Western Hat burning + decorating workshop with ꜱʜᴀɴɴᴏɴ ꜱᴋᴏᴜʀᴀꜱ ᴍᴀʜʀᴇ from GWG followed by a Cowgirl Charcuterie + Empower Hour, RAD swag bags, professional photos + videos from the day... and SO MUCH MORE.

There’s something timeless about a great western hat — and there’s nothing better than making one entirely your own.

Join ꜱʜᴀɴɴᴏɴ ꜱᴋᴏᴜʀᴀꜱ ᴍᴀʜʀᴇ of Girls With Grit Adventure Co . for an elevated evening of western hat burning and customization at Bron Yr Aur Brewing Co

Begin with a premium vegan suede hat (your choice of flat brim or rancher), then bring your vision to life with custom stencils, hand-burned details, feathers, leather bands, and more. From understated and classic to bold and beautifully wild, every hat will be as individual as the woman wearing it.

September 27 | 5–7 PM�Bron Yr Aur Brewing Co.

Your ticket includes your premium hat, all decorating materials, use of our stencils and hat burning tools (she’ll lead you through how to use everything too!) and a drink voucher for one on-tap beer, cider, or soda. Register at least 5 days prior to the event and she’ll even be able to get your custom stencil dialed in so that you can burn it onto your hat!

Come for an evening of creativity and connection. Leave with a custom western hat that feels like it was made for you.

We are beyond excited to be heading back to Suncadia for another year of putting on the Harvest Hustle 5K Fun 5K fun run + walk.

🍁Date: October 3, 2026
🍁Location: Suncadia Nelson Farm
🍁Trail + Paved Path Course with slight elevation change. The Suncadia trails and Kittitas County Nature Conservancy are a beautiful backdrop for this family-friendly, harvest inspired run or walk.
🍁Day of Registration Opens: 7:30 AM
🍁Pumpkin Prance Start: 8:30 AM
🍁Harvest Hustle 5K Start: 9:00 AM

🍁Standard Registration: $48
🍁5k Youth registration (under 13): $32

Stoneflies are one of the coolest bugs out there. They spend years of their life underwater and when they are fully mature, they come out of the water onto dry rocks and shuck their final exoskeleton, emerging as a winged terrestrial. These adults fly around and live for a days up to a few weeks — focusing on mating + reproduction during this stage of their life.

These exoskeletons that we find on rocks can help us pick out which nymphs and dry files we should be fishing with that can potentially lead to landing those big trout we all have our hearts set on catching.

Here’s how:
Use a stonefly nymph that is similar to the size (and color) of the shuck you see on the rock - or for those dry fly fanatics like myself, grab a chubby in a similar size to the shuck to mimic the winged terrestrial stage.

If you told 20 year old me that I’d become a bug nerd, I probably wouldn’t have believed you, but here I am absolutely addicted to bugs and stoked on learning as much as I possibly can about them. Any other bug nerds out there with some cool tips?!

My promise to you? To never stop creating a safe environment for women (and men!) to grow, to fail, to fail harder, to learn new skills, to be unapologetically themselves — and to also never stop learning myself.
