The JV Spartans may have come up short tonight, falling 22–6, but there was plenty to be proud of! 💪

It was their first game of the season, and they battled, competed, and showed us that this team has a LOT of potential. This is just the beginning, Spartans. 💚🤍

We’ll learn from tonight, come back stronger, and keep working toward something AMAZING. We believe in you! 👊🔥

On Friday, September 18, Hughesville Spartans Football will proudly host our MILITARY APPRECIATION GAME; and we want to make this night unforgettable.

We are calling on ALL CURRENT & FORMER MILITARY MEMBERS in our Spartan community:

This night is about more than football.

The Spartans battled tonight, but the final score was Montgomery 24 — Hughesville 0.

It wasn’t the result we wanted, but we are incredibly proud of our athletes for putting it all out there tonight. 💚🏈

A huge thank you to Montgomery Football for hosting us and giving our Spartans the opportunity to kick off the 2026 season.

But remember… this was only Game 1. 😉

And now… WE’RE COMING HOME. 🏟️🔥

It’s time to start introducing you to the 2026 Hughesville Spartans Senior Lineup!

Throughout the season, we’ll be shining the spotlight on our seniors; giving our community a chance to get to know the players behind the helmets, learn a little about their accomplishments, and celebrate the young men who have worked so hard to represent Hughesville football. 🏈💚

And what better way to kick things off than with

Connor has already made quite a name for himself on the football field, and his 2025 season was nothing short of incredible…

We’re getting ready to pack the stands and cheer on our Spartans as they take on Montgomery tomorrow night! Let’s bring the noise, the school spirit, and that Spartan pride! 🔥

📣 IMPORTANT PARKING UPDATE! 📣

We received a clarification regarding the information previously posted about parking.

👉 This is NOT a parking fee. It is an admission fee intended to help reduce the number of vehicles coming to the game.

The cost is:
💵 $5 per person in the vehicle
OR
💵 $20 for an unlimited number of people in the vehicle
