A familiar sight for the MBMC Racing crew...

We are loaded up, buckled in, and on the road again.

This time, we are headed to NGQMA - North Georgia Quarter Midget Association for a doubleheader weekend. Two races on Saturday, a quick turnaround on the cars Sunday and Monday, North Carolina Quarter Midget Association (NCQMA) Summer Series racing on Thursday, and then back home next Saturday for NCQMA’s own doubleheader weekend.

That is 5 races in 8 days!

It is a busy stretch. It is a demanding stretch. But these are the weeks that remind us why we do this.

Yes, the racing matters. We love the competition, the preparation, the challenge, and the opportunity to keep learning every time Maclan straps into the car. There is no rest when you are working to grow, improve, and bring your best to every track, every weekend.

But more than anything, this is the story we are writing as a family.

The long drives, the early mornings, the late nights in the trailer, the wins, the disappointments, the lessons, and the memories all become part of something bigger than racing. They are opportunities for our family to grow closer to each other, closer to the people God has placed in our lives, and closer to Him.

That is the real reward.

Racing gives us the moments. Family gives them meaning.

We are excited to get down to Georgia, see so many of our NGQMA friends, and spend the weekend racing alongside some incredible families from across the Southeast.

Time to get back to work.

✨ Worship Wednesday ✨

📖 “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.”
-James 5:13

This verse is simple, but it carries so much wisdom for how we are called to live each day.

James reminds us that there is no season of life where God should be left out. When we are suffering, struggling, disappointed, overwhelmed, or unsure of what comes next, we are called to pray. Not after we have exhausted every other option. Not only when we have the right words. Not only when we feel strong enough. We are invited to bring our hurt, our fear, our confusion, and our weakness directly to the Lord.

Prayer is not just something we do when we have answers. Prayer is how we draw near to the One who holds them.

But James does not stop there.

He also reminds us that when we are cheerful, we should sing praise. When things are going well, when blessings are easy to see, when joy fills our hearts, we are called to turn that joy back toward God. It can be easy to seek Him in the hard moments and forget to praise Him in the good ones. But every blessing, every moment of peace, every answered prayer, and every reason to smile is another opportunity to worship the One who gives all good things.

This verse teaches us that both suffering and joy should move us closer to God.

In hardship, we pray.
In joy, we praise.
In every season, we turn our hearts toward Him.

That does not mean life will always be easy. It does not mean disappointment will not come. It does not mean every difficult moment will make sense right away. But it does mean we are never walking through any of it alone.

God meets us in the suffering.
God receives our praise in the joy.
God remains faithful through it all.

💭 This week, we invite you to join us in reflecting on this simple but powerful truth:

When life feels heavy, do I turn to prayer or try to carry it all myself?
When life is joyful, do I pause long enough to give God the praise?
Am I allowing both the hard moments and the good moments to draw me closer to Him?

🙏 Together, we are offering in prayer:

Lord, thank You for being present in every season of our lives. Teach us to come to You first when we are suffering, and remind us to praise You fully when we are cheerful. Help us not to carry our burdens alone, and help us not to forget where our blessings come from. Keep our hearts close to You in every circumstance, and let both our prayers and our praise bring glory to Your name. Amen.

Track friendships are the best friendships. 🏁🎬

Maclan and his bestie KK spend plenty of time together at the race track, but today they got to trade in helmets and race cars for popcorn, candy, and a movie.

And then there is Caileigh...taking in her very first movie theater experience with just a little bit of terror in her eyes. 😂

These are the moments we love most. Racing brings us together, but the friendships and memories away from the track are what make it all so special.

Race week is here, and the focus has already shifted forward.

This weekend, we are working to get back on track at NGQMA - North Georgia Quarter Midget Association for a doubleheader weekend in Cu***ng, GA.

There is no reset button in racing.

You take what you have learned, sharpen what needs to improve, and show up ready for the next opportunity.

That is the mindset this week.

Be better on entry.
Be sharper through the center.
Be stronger off the corner.
Make every lap count.

We are working hard this week to make the trip possible, and if everything comes together, Mac will be ready to strap back in and get after it in his Ultimate QM Junior Honda and Junior 160 XWings.

We are grateful for every person and business that continues to believe in MBMC Racing and helps make opportunities like this possible. This journey is built through effort, support, and the people who choose to be part of it.

New week.
New opportunity.
Same mission.

Now we go to work.

Some of God’s greatest blessings come in the form of the people He places in our lives.

There are not enough words to express how grateful we are for Mr. David, Ms. Beth, and the girls. The love, encouragement, and unwavering support they pour into Maclan means far more than they will ever know. They have become so much more than friends to our family, they are a gift from God that we never could have imagined.

While we were in Indianapolis last week, we were blessed to spend some cherished time together. Mr. David selflessly dedicated hours of his time capturing Maclan and his race car through his lens, never asking for anything in return other than the opportunity to serve and encourage.

The photos he created are simply breathtaking, and what you see below is only a small glimpse of the hundreds of incredible moments he captured.

More than the photographs, though, we are thankful for the hearts behind them. We truly believe God orchestrates our paths for a purpose, and bringing the Stover family into our lives is one of the greatest blessings He has given us. Their kindness, generosity, and steadfast friendship remind us daily of His goodness and faithfulness.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We love you all more than words can ever say. ❤️

Sometimes racing gives you the story you hoped to tell.

Sometimes it gives you the story you need to live.

Indianapolis was not the ending we had envisioned.

As a team, we simply were not where we needed to be. We missed the setup on both cars, and Maclan was never able to find the rhythm that we know he is capable of. The result was an early exit from both classes, ending our week in the D Main in Junior 160 and the C Main in Junior Honda.

There are no excuses to offer and no way to dress it up. We came to Indianapolis with high expectations, and we fell well short of them. That is a difficult reality to accept, especially after the journey that brought us here.

But if this Road to Indy has reminded us of anything, it is that our purpose is never going to be defined by one race weekend.

Victories are easy to celebrate. Defeat is where character is revealed.

So we will learn from every mistake, own every shortcoming, and go back to work. We will continue chasing the standard we have set for ourselves, knowing that growth is rarely found in comfort.

Most importantly, we continue to trust that God is writing a story far greater than the one we can see today. That does not erase the disappointment we feel in this moment, but it reminds us that disappointment is not the final chapter. His plan has never depended on one race, one weekend, or one result.

The work begins again today.

Onward we go.
