Magic City Striders

Just a reminder to get together your best costume and join us for our annual Halloween run on Sunday, Oct. 31st at 2:00pm at Roosevelt Park (parking lot by the bridge). We will be running approx.3 miles through downtown Minot and finish at the park with yummy treats. Should be a lot of fun- and maybe a little scary! Hope to see you there.

The Magic City Striders are planning a group run this Sunday (Oct. 3rd) starting at 9:00am at Oak Park. Hope you can make it and enjoy a beautiful Fall run with friends.

Run the Route on July 24th! The races include a
5K and 1.5 mile course. The 5K race starts at the South Hill diamonds
and the 1.5 mile race starts at the corner of Main St. and Burdick
Expwy. Both races start at 9:00am and finish at the State Fair’s main
gate. Runners are responsible for own transportation to starti...ng
lines and from finish. Pick up a registration form at Mile One!

We will be having a group run this Sunday starting at 8:00am at Oak Park. Hope you can make plans to join us!

Some Magic City Striders members are planning on doubling their racing efforts this weekend by running the Velva 5K on Saturday and the Zoo Run on Sunday. If you would like to join them and car pool to Velva, please meet at Mile One on Saturday morning. They plan on leaving Mile One by 7:00am and would love to have you come along. No group run this weekend but stay tuned for info about the Prairie Rose Games.

This week’s group run will be held on Sunday
starting at 9:00 am at Mile One Running Shop. We decided to start at
the shop to change the course scenery a little and also to show off the
new Saucony shoes that just arrived this week! Sale on racing flats
continues through the month of June. Stick around after the group
run and slip into a few pairs to see how you like them.

We have decided to hold our Striders group runs on Sundays this summer to accommodate all the racing on Saturdays. We will meet at 9:00am this Sunday (June 13th ) in Oak Park for a group run.. Hope to see you there.

Fargo Marathon

For those of us staying home this weekend, we are planning a
group run on Saturday starting at 9:00am from Mile One. Distances will
likely
vary with the runners that participate, but hope you can make it for
some or
all of the run with us. Results from Fargo
half might even be available when we finish at Mile One.

Striders will be hosing a (non-competitive) group run this SUNDAY (May 16th) starting at 9:00am at Oak Park. Hope to see you there!
