Brown Deer DGC

Brown Deer League is on for tonight with some beautiful weather in the forecast! Ace pot is up to $162 and the course layout will be changing before the start. $8 to play with $2 optional ace pool. Checkin is from 5pm-5:30pm with a shotgun start at 5:45pm. We are still playing singles! Come on out for a fun time.

While we are bummed we couldn't run our first tournament this year**, we are still SO STOKED with how these discs came out from MVP Disc Sports!! The stamp design by Bigshot Robot is amazing, and the colors on these discs absolutely pops!

We will be selling these as a fundraiser for $25/disc, and for now they can be picked up on league nights at Brown Deer.

**For those curious, we had originally planned on running a few c-tier tournaments this year. We were about a month out from our first event when we decided it wasn't financially responsible as a fundraiser to run an event at what projected to be a significant loss for us. The only thing we couldn't back out of was our order with MVP, but this was acceptable because we could still sell the discs as a fundraiser! Thus why we have 75 discs stamped with a tournament logo that never actually happened ̄\_(ツ)_/ ̄

Temps are down, but birdies are up! League is ON for tonight at Brown Deer! I will have water available for any who need it.

Last week we had Nathan Konkol take down the Advanced Division with a blistering -11 (270 UDisc rating)!! Shoutout Ethan Maurer and Nicole Franklin for winning Intermediate and Recreational divisions as well!

For the next 8 weeks we will be hosting a singles stroke-play league at Brown Deer. As always check in is from 5:00 - 5:30, with a shotgun start at 5:45. It is $8 to play and $2 for ace pot.

Anyone is welcome to participate in any of our 3 open divisions, or our women's division! Weekly payouts will go to our division winners, and a division champion will be crowned for the individual with the 5 best performances!

League is cancelled for Wednesday July 1st!

Due to the holiday and the USMNT match at 7pm, we are going to take the week off between our seasons.

July 8th we'll back back at Brown Deer as usual though and we will be shifting formats to singles! Be on the lookout for more information soon.
