Specialty ordered projects, will have to be payed 50% up front. I love to Craft, Bake and I love Coffee. LoL, these three things make up the name I chose for my small business, that I am running from our home. Originally, I am from Germany and that being said, Germany is big into recycling. That is one of the reasons I like to use some materials that just end up in the landfill, like the springs out of mattresses and box springs, veggie cans, aluminum cans, bottles of any kind, pretty much anything I can turn from nothing into something. But, I also use new materials for my crafts and I'm so frugal, that I will keep every 'lil leftover, to use on something else. Yes, yes, yes it sounds crazy, but the good kind of crazy. I craft/ create by mood and inspirations, one day I’ll be working with beads, the next day I pant wine glasses or use other mediums to work with. Sales tax will be applied to all Texas purchases. Here is one way I get my inspirations for my creations!

The other day, my husband calls me to him and showed me the abundance of acorns, on one of our oak trees, in the backyard!
All I could say was wow and amazing!

Immediately, my mind went back to childhood memories in Germany!
Mom and dad took us kids for walks or small hikes in the forest or through the fields, every Sunday. Rain or shine!
Oh how I miss that time!
On our walks and hikes, dad always taught us something new about nature! Whether it was about trees, birds, insects or the natural ecosystem!
Mom was always on the lookout for natural treasures, like acorns, dried flowers, barks or beautiful green and soft moss, even edible berries! Have you ever had tiny forest strawberries or raspberries???
The best, I’ll tell you!
Depending on the season, we would collect different items from Mother Nature and brought them home with us. Items were cleaned and dried and then we set at the table and crafted with them.
Great times!

So, naturally, I thought what can I do with some of those acorns?!?
Earrings, necklace charms and simple fall decor came to mind. Then I remembered, I collected a bunch of acorn caps somewhere at some point and had them in a box, already cleaned and dried.
That’s when I sat down and went to work and created these earrings!
Still playing around with ideas so stay tuned!
