Meet Your Team Combat Coaching Staff!

Head Coach: John Young ⛳️

Coach Young brings 18 years of Coaching experience. From T-Ball to High School, Coach Young’s focus is to see each student athlete reach their full potential while falling in love with the game. He has built a high level group which that has no quit! Building a Championship caliber Team isn’t easy, Coach John has made it look easy by building a winning culture. He has 4 daughters and 3 of them play high level softball. If you ask his family, they would describe him as an egg. Hard exterior, soft on the inside. He has a major soft spot for his immediate children along with his TC kids. He’s recently engaged and had the TC girls help pop the question at the USSSA Wold Series in Chicago. In his free time, you can find him on the fairways.

Assistant Coach: Bob Rice 🦌

Coach Rice has an extensive background in Baseball as a player and Coach. He coached his sons Teams and now is coaching his daughter. This is Coach Rice’s 3rd year with Coach Young. Coach Rice’s presence in the dugout is paramount for our young athletes. He is calm, steady, and always encouraging. Whether it’s a tense moment, or someone having a hard time regulating emotions, he’s a trusted adult the players can lean on for a pick me up. When Coach Rice isn’t at the field, you can try and find him chasing whitetails in the woods or laying underneath a demo derby car spinning wrenches.

TC would like to thank everyone who has helped shape our athletes. It takes a village and we thank each and everyone of you who have contributed to our winning culture.

Zoey came to our first tryout for the upcoming fall/spring campaigns and fit right in with our Team. Her energy and toughness makes her reliable behind the plate and at hot corners. What really stands out is her ability to hit the ball hard. She has a smooth and powerful swing that produces line drives and gap shots. She can certainly make an immediate impact on both sides.

Zoey is a competitor who also plays tackle football. 🏈

Welcome Back #11 Chloe Campbell!

TC is thrilled to welcome back our scrappy, feisty, fierce, and oh so fast Chloe! The smallest in the dugout but has the biggest mentality that cannot be measured in inches. She plays the field with a gritty, unwavering personality and will use every part of her body to secure a ball. Zero quit!

On the bases, she’s the pocket rocket 🚀. Her speed is unmatched and shes a catchers worst nightmare.

Welcome Back #1 Kylie Manning!

TC is thrilled to welcome back one of the sweetest and most respectful kiddos out there! Kylie is the kind of athlete every Coach and Teammate loves to have around. Always polite, always encouraging, and always showing up with a positive attitude. She sets a great example for everyone. 🌈

On the field, she’s been locked in at the plate as of late. You can tell she has really been putting the hours in. In the outfield, she’s proven to be a key asset and helped create the “No Fly Zone.” You can always count on Kylie to give you her absolute best!

Reentering “THE” Combat Zone, the Twins! Welcome back Ellie and Emma!

The SS to 1st connection is back! Ellie and Emma truly bring double the energy to the Squad. Combining dominant on field talent with their larger than life personalities, they are an absolute must see. They anchor the defense with an almost psychic connection. We can always count of them to break tense tournament moments with their humor and shenanigans.

Aside from their tremendous gloves, their bats were really a problem for opposing teams. This one two punch had a combined .390 BA in the 26 season. They combined for 115 R’s as well. Both received USSA honors this past season.

Welcome Back #44 Aubrey Harmon!

We are thrilled to have our gunner of a catcher back behind the dish 💥. Aubrey’s cannon of an arm keeps baserunners exactly where they belong. Once you see her take it down to 2nd, you know you’re in for a long day on the bases. She threw 26 runners out in her 26 campaign including some amazing back-picks at 1st and 3rd. She caught for two 100K pitchers and helped frame a lot of those K’s. She’s a true brick wall behind the plate 🧱

Aubrey earned overall tournament MVP in 26 at Mayhem and USSSA honors. She’s a true 3 sport athlete who lives for competition.

Welcome Back #21 Raegan “Rae Baby” Rice!

Team Combat welcomes back the Princess of Madison. Raegans pure and unmatched love for life elevates everyone around her. Her positive energy is flat out infectious and we couldn’t imagine our dugout without her. It’s no surprise she is a very successful Mohawk Cheerleader 📣

Raegan tied for first in HR’s in the 26 campaign and has worked extremely hard on her swing and finished the year with a very respectable .329 BA. Raegan has shown she can play a very hot corner at 3rd and loves tracking down balls in CF. She is a part of our “NO FLY ZONE”.
