🇭🇹 Kenscoff is not just another headline. These are lives. These are families. These are our people.
The Haitian Lawyers Association took time to listen, gather credible information, and understand the devastating events unfolding in Kenscoff before adding our voice. Our silence was not an absence of grief—it was an exercise of responsibility.
As we mourn the lives lost, stand with those who have been displaced, and pray for the safe return of those abducted, we must also acknowledge what Kenscoff is showing us in real time: the conditions in Haiti remain dangerous, unstable, and deeply concerning.
For Haitian TPS holders now facing uncertainty in the United States, this reality is not theoretical. The termination of TPS changed their legal protection. It did not change Haiti.
Behind every TPS case is a person. Behind every removal order is a destination. And we cannot discuss returning Haitians without honestly confronting the conditions to which they may be returned.
To Kenscoff, to those mourning, and to Haitians everywhere carrying the weight of this moment:
Nou wè nou. Nou tande nou. Nou kanpe avèk nou. 🇭🇹🤍
We see you. We hear you. We stand with you.
Nou pap bliye Kenscoff. We will not forget Kenscoff.

🚨 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR HAITIAN TPS HOLDERS 🇭🇹🇺🇸
The termination of Haiti’s Temporary Protected Status (TPS) has left many individuals and families with uncertainty and difficult questions. While this is a significant change, it does not necessarily mean you are out of legal options.
Every immigration case is unique. Depending on your circumstances, you may qualify for other forms of immigration relief. The most important step you can take right now is to seek accurate legal guidance—not rely on rumors or misinformation.
The Haitian Lawyers Association (HLA) is committed to serving our community during this critical time by offering FREE immigration consultations for individuals impacted by the termination of Haiti’s TPS.
📲 Need to speak with an attorney?
Text “Consultation Needed” to 561-861-6894 to be connected with a qualified immigration attorney who can discuss your individual circumstances and potential legal options.
🤝 You do not have to navigate this process alone. Our community is strongest when we stand together, stay informed, and support one another with trusted legal guidance.
⚖️ Knowledge is Power.
🛡️ Preparation is Protection.
❤️ Hope is Stronger When Grounded in Truth.

To every person who has followed, liked, shared, commented, attended an event, volunteered, or championed our mission—thank you. Reaching 5,000 followers is more than a milestone; it’s a reflection of a community that believes in justice, advocacy, and the power of standing together.
Now, more than ever, during these times, we must band together. As the Haitian proverb reminds us, “Men anpil, chay pa lou.” Many hands truly make the load lighter. Together, we will continue to uplift our community, protect our rights, mentor the next generation, and create lasting impact.
Thank you for walking this journey with us. Here’s to growing stronger—together. ❤️💙💛
