The little things matter when you’re training for a marathon 🏃🏻‍♀️

As my mileage builds for Berlin, I’m focused on staying proactive with recovery and injury prevention instead of waiting for small aches to become bigger setbacks. KT Tape Pro Extreme has become one of the tools in my training toolkit to help provide targeted pain relief and support while still allowing my body to move naturally. it’s designed to stay put through tough workouts & sweat and is a great option for runners and anyone looking for extra support 🙌🏼

18 years, so many races, PRs… and even more lessons 🏃🏻‍♀️

If I could go back and give my younger running self a few reminders, they’d be these:

you don’t have to PR to have a great race.
one bad race doesn’t make you a bad runner.
training for a race can be just as rewarding as the race itself.
you’re allowed to change your goals.
rest days aren’t wasted days.
the finish time matters a lot less once the race is over.
and you’ll probably never fully understand why you willingly sign up to do this over and over again 😆

18 years later, I still love the process, the challenge and everything running has given me outside of a finish time.

🥂 here’s to still learning after all these years!

Lateral strength matters too 👏🏼 yes, running is a forward motion, but working the muscles in all directions helps improve balance/stability and leads to less fatigue during long distances.

These are a few of my favorite moves :)
*you don’t need to do all the exercises at once—just pick what you can, focus on good form, and build from there 🤸🏻‍♀️

SAVE this one for your next strength day!

We give our watches a lot of credit during marathon training—but they only tell part of the story 👀 the miles are important, but so are the recovery & lifestyle habits that help you show up again day after day. One thing that’s been part of my routine is OmegaXL Sport — made with 3 key clean ingredients: Green-lipped mussel oil, olive oils & vitamin E, it helps reduce soreness so I can recover faster. I love that it’s now available online or in select GNC stores, making it easy to grab while I’m already out running errands 👏🏼
The best training plans don’t stop when your watch does! 🏃🏻‍♀️

and none of them require having my life completely figured out 🪄

running. getting stronger. traveling. the right shoes. caring a little less about what other people think. and finally learning that “no” is a complete sentence.

I think getting older has made me realize that a better life is about doing more of what makes you feel good and giving yourself permission to do less of what doesn’t.

What would you add to this list?👇🏼

70-mile weeks have taught me something I used to ignore: sleep is part of training 💤

This summer I’ve been much more intentional about recovery, and SomniPods3 have been a game changer for better sleep.
They’re ultra-thin earbuds designed specifically for sleep with hybrid active noise cancelling to help reduce nighttime distractions like snoring and room noise. They also track sleep posture, stages, and movements, with AI-powered insights through the Fitnexa App to help me better understand my sleep habits.

I love that they also have a built-in white noise library for those nights when I need a little extra help falling asleep.
The miles matter…but so does the recovery between them 🌙🏃🏻‍♀️
