Youth and collegiate bowlers have the opportunity to step onto the lanes at the South Point Bowling Plaza and compete in the same event and on the same conditions as the rest of the field.

A few important details for our youth bowlers:

🎳 Bowlers under 18 must have a signed parental consent form.

🎳 A bowler’s age is determined as of the start date of the Agent Ong Open.

🎓 All prize winnings earned by youth bowlers will be paid through the USBC SMART Scholarship Program.

A MESSAGE FROM THE ONG FAMILY

As some of you may already know, Carl was admitted to the hospital Sunday night due to long term heart and kidney issues that he has dealt with for for a few years. We wanted to confirm that this is true and also thank everyone who has already reached out, called, texted, and offered their prayers and support.

Carl is a fighter. Anyone who knows him knows that giving up simply isn’t in his DNA. He has his family by his side, an incredible group of friends around him, and an entire bowling community that means more to him than most people probably realize.

One of the things Carl wanted us to make very clear is this:

The Agent Ong Open IV – All In is going forward exactly as planned.

This has zero effect on the tournament whatsoever. Carl has worked incredibly hard on this event, and even from the hospital, one of the things on his mind has been making sure everyone knows that October is still happening.

He fully intends to be at South Point Bowling Plaza in Las Vegas, welcoming all of you and watching everything we’ve worked toward come together.

More than anything, he is looking forward to seeing everyone and personally thanking you for the support you’ve given him not only for the Agent Ong Open, but especially during what he and our family are going through right now.

For the time being, we’re asking everyone to keep Carl in your thoughts and prayers and give him the opportunity to focus on getting stronger and getting home.

There is still a lot of bowling left to do.

💙🎳 $6,000 RAISED IN HONOR OF Jakob Butturff!

Yesterday was about so much more than bowling.

It was about coming together as a community to remember our friend, celebrate his life, share stories, laugh, cry, and make sure Jakob’s impact on this sport continues long into the future.

Because of everyone who bowled, donated, participated in the raffles and 50/50, volunteered, shared our posts, and simply showed up to support this event, we were able to raise an incredible $6,000 for the Jakob Butturff Memorial Scholarship Fund.

$6,000. In Jakob’s name. For the next generation of bowlers. 💙

That is something everyone who was part of yesterday should be incredibly proud of.
