⚾️ 🦅 That’s a wrap on our 2026/2027 Tryouts!!

⚾️ There are so many people to thank who stepped in and helped make the past two days a success. First, a huge shout out and thank you to the instructors at D-Bat Memphis & a few assistant coaches and retired Memphis area legendary coaches, who served as our evaluating team.
Secondly, the coaches who stayed for two long, hot Memphis days to meet all the prospective players and families.
We also want to thank the families who fed our volunteers, and the moms who helped at registration.
Last but not least, a HUGE thank you to our returning varsity players for their help and encouragement to all who were trying out.

All results should be emailed by next Wednesday, 9/2. (Hopefully sooner)

When: Register by Friday 8/21 and join us at tryouts on Monday 8/24 & Tuesday 8/25

*this is a school team, and a great opportunity for homeschoolers to compete against local schools & top talent in our area. Upon acceptance into the team, membership to Memphis-Area Home Education Association is required. MHEA provides support for homeschool families including but not limited to sports teams, clubs, dances & graduation ceremonies.

We are a competive organization offering homeschoolers a chance to play high school baseball. MHEA is represented by 3 teams in the Middle School Coaches League, one being the 2026 East Division Champions!

Our JV and Varsity teams play some of the areas top talent including CBHS, MUS, North Delta and FACS. The varsity team also travels to Florida to compete in the Homeschool World Series.

Tryouts are August 24 & 25 at USA Stadium •JV/Varsity (9th-12th grade) 2:00-4:00
•Middle school (6th-8th grade) 5:00-7:00

Happy Father’s Day to our favorite throwing partners, bp pitchers & supporters! Our dads give up so many hours and resources to make us better young men!! We hope this Father’s Day you all feel loved and appreciated!

A month may have passed since the Eagles last took the field for the 2026 season, but we finally rounded up some of the players and families for a little celebration.

We heard from our middle school teams and coaches & celebrated the growth, the homeruns and the championship win!

We heard from our JV coaches and celebrated the first season as an independent junior varsity team, made up of 7th-9th graders, and what a fun team this will be to watch over the next few years.

We closed the night celebrating the varsity players. We sent our seniors off with some home decor & spent time celebrating our 5 varsity award winners.

Amidst all the celebrating, one theme came up in each coaches presentation… the identity of these guys who make up our baseball program not being found in baseball, but in Christ. We are so thankful for a volunteer coaching staff who truly cares for and desires to see these boys spend many years on a ball field, but most importantly eternity with our Savior.

Thank you to the families who made 2026 a wonderful season!! We ended the night last night closing one season, and Coach woke up this morning filling the calendar with games for next season. It’s a great time to be an Eagle!!

What a way to finish the season… as the MSCL East Division Champions!!

This team went 12-4-1 on the season, winning the Championship game against Briarcrest 9-6

We are so proud of these guys and truly excited about the future of MHEA Baseball.

Congrats Boys and Coaches!!
