I have been coaching boys and men for over 20 years, during that time I have coached some of the toughest dudes but tonight I was coaching 12u softball and I witnessed the toughest ball player of them all. Henley Willis was catching and took a full swing to the elbow, it got her good, she cried, came out of the game, elbow red and swollen but two innings later she said “Brian, I am ready to go back in and hit” even though she couldn’t swing, she said she could bunt. She stepped in that box with zero fear and a short memory of the pain she just experienced……. Thats a ball player right there!!

The future is looking bright in the Mudcat world. These boys just played their first ever 12u tourney and game away runners up! 12 hours in this heat was intense but these boys showed up and showed out. If you know any of these boys, you should be extremely proud!

Big shoutout to the #1 2028 left handed pitcher in the state, Sean Snellings, for helping coach all weekend!! I say it all the time, this Mudcat Family is so much more than just a hashtag.
