From all of us at the McKinney Ice Hockey Club, we wish you and your family a safe, joyful, and memorable 4th of July as we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of American Independence.

Today we honor the courage, sacrifice, and enduring spirit of those who built this nation and all who have defended the freedoms we enjoy. We hope your day is filled with family, friends, community, and celebration.

In yesterday’s UJV tie breaking shootout, McKenzie Wi******er makes the game winning shot against Frisco!

Way to go McKinney UJV! Great defense from both sides, and we saw some awesome puck handling skills throughout the game.

Just a few more games before summer comes to a close for all our McKinney High School Hockey teams. UJV will be against Jesuit in McKinney this coming Sunday.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Memorial Day is a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for those who gave everything to protect the freedoms we enjoy each day.

Their courage, sacrifice, and devotion to something greater than themselves will never be forgotten. We honor not only those we lost, but also the families who carry their memory forward.

May we take a moment today to remember the fallen, reflect on their sacrifice, and live in a way that honors their legacy.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

What an incredible night for the McKinney Ice Hockey Club!

Last night’s MIHC Awards Banquet was a perfect celebration of our season a night filled with pride, gratitude, and community. We recognized our amazing players for their hard work and development, our dedicated coaches for their leadership, and our parents and board members for their tireless support throughout the year.

One of the most special moments of the evening was our Senior Tribute, where we shared heartfelt letters from parents to their graduating players and messages from our seniors to their families. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as we celebrated their journeys both on and off the ice.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success and to the entire MIHC family for another unforgettable season. We’re so proud of each of you and can’t wait to see what’s next for our seniors and returning players alike!
