Earlier this week I mentioned that I'm not usually drawn to purple, so for today's card I focused on one of my new favorite colors—Hydrangea Hue.

It leans toward purple with a beautiful periwinkle look, but has just enough blue that I've completely fallen in love with it! The colored flowers, coordinating Hydrangea Hue ribbon, and adorable In Color Butterflies come together for a soft, elegant design that's perfect for so many occasions.

The Violet Dreams Suite Collection is one of the beautiful July Online Exclusives. If you're a purple lover, this suite is definitely for you. And even if you're not (I'm usually not!), I think you'll still fall in love with it.

For me, the Designer Series Paper is what really makes this suite shine. Today's card features one of my favorite layouts whenever I want to showcase beautiful DSP. I selected three coordinating patterns to create the striped background, then added a long banner for the sentiment and finished it off with clusters of the adorable die-cut flowers from the suite.

Sometimes all you need is gorgeous paper and a simple design!
