Youth and Adult Crisis Services move to Stabler Street location as of June 24: Services open at CMHA-CEI’s new Crisis Care Center as of 5 p.m., Wed., June 24, 2026
Beginning Wed., June 24, 2026 at 5 p.m., Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton and Ingham Counties (CMHA-CEI) Youth Crisis Services and Adult Crisis Services will open at the new Crisis Care Center, 2900 Stabler St. in Lansing, on the former McLaren Greenlawn campus. Youth Crisis Services, also known as Families Forward, and Adult Crisis Services will move from their current locations, 812 E. Jolly Rd. and 5303 S. Cedar St. Building 2 in Lansing, to the Stabler Street location for walk-in and drop-off services.
These will be the first services available inside the new Crisis Care Center, which is slated to open in phases over the next year. Individuals and families seeking in-person crisis support should go directly to the new Stabler Street location starting 5 p.m. on Wed., June 24. CMHA-CEI’s crisis teams will continue providing immediate support for youth and adults, including walk-in care and crisis response, in an environment that keeps care connected and easier to access.
“This new location strengthens our existing services by welcoming individuals and families into a safe space for hope, support and healing,” said Sara Lurie, CEO of CMHA-CEI. “We are so proud to open the doors to the first services inside the Crisis Care Center and to continue providing available care every day.”
The new Crisis Care Center marks the next chapter in CMHA-CEI’s ongoing work to strengthen crisis response across the region. By bringing Youth and Adult Crisis Services into the new building first, CMHA-CEI is creating a clearer, more centralized entry point for immediate behavioral health support.
As of 5 p.m., Wed., June 24, walk-in crisis care for youth and adults will no longer be available at 812 E. Jolly Rd. and 5303 S. Cedar St. Building 2 in Lansing. After that date, individuals in crisis and families seeking in-person support should go to the new Crisis Care Center at 2900 Stabler St. Those experiencing a mental or behavioral health crisis can also call Adult Crisis Services at 517-346-8460 or Youth Crisis Services at 517-346-8008 for immediate support.
“The relocation of the Youth and Adult Crisis Services reflects years of planning, partnership and shared commitment across our community,” Lurie said. “I am deeply grateful to the many people who invested in bringing this vision forward. Their support helped create a place where crisis care can feel accessible, compassionate and steady from the moment someone walks through the door.”
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental or behavioral health crisis, please call Adult Crisis Services at 517-346-8460 or Youth Crisis Services at 517-346-8008 for immediate support.
