It’s THAT time of year again— The MHS Baseball Boosters are kicking off our popular Thanksgiving Football Squares!

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬 – 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟲
Teams & Times:
1:00 PM BEARS @ LIONS - CBS
4:30 PM EAGLES @ COWBOYS - FOX
8:20 PM CHIEFS @ BILLS – NBC

ENTRY FEE: $300 gets you into ALL THREE Games!

You choose the square, #1 - #100. Square will remain the same for all 3 games. Winning numbers will change every game.

PAYOUTS FOR WINNERS:
$1250 each first quarter (3)
$1250 each second quarter (3)
$1250 each third quarter (3)
$1250 each FINAL SCORE (3)

PLUS—Each Quarter Score will also pay out $100 for “lightning” squares: those squares directly above, below and to the left and right sides of the winning square. (Not diagonally). There will be 4 lightning squares per quarter

TOTAL PAYOUTS FOR THE DAY WILL BE $19,800 as follows;
$1250 X 12 Qtrs = $15,000
+ 4 lightning spots per quarter: 48 @ $100 each totaling = $4,800.

The remaining $10,200 will be donated back to MHS Baseball Boosters.

MHS Baseball Boosters is a non-profit organization that helps facilitate off season workouts, bus food for the players away games, the funding of scholarships and a new MHS baseball bag for all incoming freshmen.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Venmo your payment $300/square to @𝗺𝗵𝘀𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀. 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒎𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒅𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒐𝒐𝒍.

2. After you venmo, please email 𝗺𝗵𝘀𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮@𝗴𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺 with the number square you want, your name and cell phone number in case you are not in our contacts. Please put a check mark in the title. First come, first serve on the square # choice. All done by receipt of email time stamp.

Please support Marshfield Athletic Boosters during the Marshfield Fair this week. This is their most significant fundraiser each year and success is critical to support purchasing varsity JACKETS, providing senior SCHOLARSHIPS, running a captain’s LEADERSHIP CLASS throughout the year, among other smaller initiatives that vary each year. They support ALL MHS sports teams!

On fair days with less than ideal weather, our numbers are lower than normal.

If you are attending the fair, please come support Marshfield Athletics at the South River School Lot. Turn onto South River St. and find the entrance adjacent to the fire station. Easy in and out.

Our Baseball boys (and some parents!) will be working the lot THURSDAY 8/27 4:00 - 9:00pm, so come visit!

FAIR PARKING-- SRS--8/27 4:00 - 9:00pm

The MHS Athletics Boosters runs parking for the Marshfield Fair where proceeds help fund letterman jackets for all varsity athletes, student-athlete scholarships, the Leadership Council program, the Athlete of the Week program, guest speakers, and special requests by individual teams (per the Athletic Director's guidance and approval). Fair Parking is an expectation of all MHS student-athletes and coaches.

** Baseball's assignment is Thursday, August 27th from 4-9 PM. This year we have the smaller lot at South River School. Coach Battis will reach out to the boys to organize their shifts.

** HERE'S WHERE PARENTS FIT IN: As in years past, it is required that each team ask parent volunteers to collect money up front and help with the parking out in the lot with Coach Battis. We will hold two shifts 4:00-6:30 and 6:30-9:00 and we are asking for 4 parents to volunteer for each shift. Please arrive 10 minutes early so that our group can be organized.
