To say I’m excited for my kids is an understatement. What started as a trial class for them has turned into one of the greatest journeys. The dedication, the sweat, the tears and pushing themselves in wins or losses has led them here. Now two of our Fight Fitness 618 students are going to compete in Jesolo Italy in the WAKO Youth Kickboxing Championships. We leave tomorrow. This is just the beginning. I will try and keep you all posted. Off we go!

Two of ours. Team USA! I am beyond proud of all the effort my students give day in and day out. And yesterday was one for the books. I had the privilege to give Kyrie Mannie and Samuel Toler their official Team USA uniforms to represent Marion Illinois and USA on the world stage in Jesolo Italy! Two of our own are competing at WAKO World Youth Championships. Let’s go team. Oossss 🥷

Important Update for Parents & Students

We’re proud to share some exciting news!

🇺🇸Two of our students, Samuel Toler and Kyrie Mannie, have been selected for the WAKO USA Kickboxing team and will be competing at the WAKO World Youth Kickboxing Championship, the largest youth kickboxing event in the world, in Jesolo, Venice, Italy from September 18–27, 2026. 🇮🇹

This is a major milestone and achievement for our youth athletes, dojo and Southern Illinois, Please give Samuel and Kyrie your best wishes when you see them! Let them know you believe in them and to bring home that Gold 🥇

Class Schedule Changes Next week: Classes will run 14-15 Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 5:00 PM Kids/ adults regular schedule these three days

Closed: September 18–28. No kids or adult classes

Reopening: Classes resume September 29 & 30 5:00PM KIds and adults regular schedule

We will post a live-stream link on the Fight Fitness 618 page and do our best to keep everyone updated on their competitions days and times throughout the event.

This incredible opportunity shows what hard work and dedication can achieve. We hope it inspires every student to chase their own goals and dreams!

Come pick a pumpkin, grab some paint, and get creative! Make it spooky, silly, colorful, cute—or completely your own. 🧡

This is a FREE, family-friendly community event and everyone is welcome!

No supplies to bring. No artistic skills required. 😉 Just show up ready to paint and have some fun with us!
