Three weeks in and teams are still showing up for each other! The squad with the most likes last week is the Cornell Heavies Sophomore squad. It shows that people are paying attention and cheering each other on, and that kind of support is what keeps a team going.

One week left in the Decompression Phase. Keep it up!

Two weeks in, and Cornell Heavies are leading the team-wide engagement score with over 4,000 likes and 458 comments so far. Way to keep each other going!

The hardest part of summer training is not the workouts themselves. It is staying motivated when there is no race on the calendar and your teammates are scattered and busy. Summer has a way of pulling everyone in different directions, and over 4,000 athletes have shown up for week one of the Summer Smasher anyway!

June is not about chasing big numbers. It is about staying close to your teammates when the structure of the season is gone and summer hands you a hundred other things to do instead. Staying connected right now matters more than most people realize, and the best way to do it is to bring someone along with you.

All summer we will be giving out prizes and shoutouts built around the three phases of off-season training. Right now we are in Phase 1, the Decompression Phase, and next week’s shoutout goes to the team with the highest engagement — so get your teammates involved.
