Valdosta High Wrestling is excited to welcome Quin McGlamery back as a member of the coaching staff. Coach McGlamery was an assistant coach at Cook High School alongside Coach Walker this past season.

Coach McGlamery is a 2018 Valdosta High School alumnus, and brings a lot of energy, work ethic, knowledge, and a strong wrestling background as a 2018 State Champion for the Wildcats. McGlamery went on to compete for Life University in the college level, leading the 2020-21 NAIA National Championship team in pins with 11 wins by fall that season, with several wins over National Qualifiers, All-Americans, and a National Champion.

McGlamery earned his Bachelors in Business Administration while at Life University and is currently pursuing his Masters in Teaching in Special Education General Curriculum at Valdosta State University.

Coach McGlamery recently married Alessandra Herrera, and we look forward to having this family as a part of the Wildcat Wrestling Family!

The 2025–26 season came to a close as we gathered for our Team Banquet and SA Night of Recognition to celebrate the accomplishments of our student-athletes, coaches, and supporters.
