Father God, we thank You for Your many blessings that You continue to give. Your love never fails us; through Your blood and Your sacrifice, we are forgiven. Your grace and Your mercy will never fail.
Father, we pray over the victims we lost, including our own Mary Lou Hague. Not only do we pray over her and her family, we pray over the victims' families and friends as well.
Help them, Father; help put their hearts at ease this day and the days that follow. We cannot imagine their pain, but You do. We cannot imagine how they feel, but You do. Only You can help guide them through the journey.
We know Your plan is better than our plan. Sometimes we do not understand that plan, but we are all Your children, and we must trust Your plan for our lives.
Father, we pray for the ones that were not even born, that they will see the sacrifices many people made that day. We pray over the children that will never know that their parents are heroes. We pray over phone calls and messages that were missed.
Father, please help us never forget; please help us continue to give praise and glory to Your Holy Name.
