The 42nd Frontier Open is in the books! This might be my favorite tournament of the year, or a close second to Junior Worlds! I always have so much fun here between the multiple doubles rounds with my dad, the 2-disc challenge, the bison chip, and the tournament itself! Ethan Tschanz and the Hays crew always make this place look and play sooo good! The first round was blazin' hot! I shot even, landing a 943-rated round! Then came the new course, Bison Trail. That course whooped me mentally! It was hard in so many different ways. However, I came back Sunday ready to make some moves. I started out slow but kept my composure and managed to move up 4 spots, securing a tie for 3rd with a banging, 70-foot putt for a birdie on my final hole to end the round with a 932-rated round!I met so many new people and saw so many friends out there last weekend! It was great to talk to every one of you! Also, thanks to Hailey Huber and Kristofer Huber for being so inviting and hanging out with us! We had so much fun! Hailey even replaced her putters with some fresh, Seven-stamped Omegas and shot an incredible 1006-rated round on her final day! I hope to see my putters on Jomez or Pro Tour coverage one day! Thanks, Hailey! You are awesome! Thanks Ron Rose for letting us stay with you! Its always nice to have somewhere quiet to sleep! Thanks to Millennium Golf Discs for the best plastic in the game! My confidence level off the tee is all because of the trust I have in their products. The Falcon, Scorpius, LS, Draco, Vela, and Tank were my workhorses! They always get me down the fairways and into the basket when I need them to.Next tournament up is the Kansas Junior Championship in a couple of weeks!!!! I can't wait to see my friends and play some rounds with kids my own age for a change!
