And make NO MISTAKE, a government with access to this power WILL use it. Imagine the abuse potential (Covid, anyone?) But instead of investigating while the surveillance is still ongoing, MINIMALLY take them down until the investigation is complete.

And I get that police see them as a useful tool. So what? The abuse potential is so high, that the "hey, they're useful" argument is pretty unpersuasive. And the abuse of this "useful tool" is already happening in Wisconsin. See last pic.
