Abethany “NeNe” James completed her season at Shelton State as a 5’7, 135 lb redshirt freshman guard who consistently impacts the game with her ability to create offense, control pace, and make winning decisions.

She is a dynamic playmaker with the change of pace and shiftiness to beat defenders off the dribble and create separation in tight spaces. NeNe shows a strong feel for the game and understands how to manipulate defenders to gain an advantage, whether attacking in isolation or operating in the pick and roll.

Her decision-making under pressure allows her to read the defense, make timely passes, and attack gaps when opportunities present themselves. She is comfortable shooting off the dribble and on the move, and she finishes confidently with either hand in the paint.

NeNe is also dangerous in the open floor, consistently showing the ability to attack in transition, push tempo, and put pressure on the defense before it gets set. She plays with toughness, confidence, and composure, demonstrating the leadership and competitiveness needed to impact winning at a high level.

Her ability to create separation, control pace, and make the right play makes her a guard who can run a team, create opportunities for others, and produce when the moment demands it.

It’s Separation Season. This camp is for players who want to get better while others take time off.

Train for three high-intensity days focused on explosiveness, shot creation and live reps using the same training principles used with college and professional players.
