Friday morning therapy sessions with these two handsome boys!
Batman is an 8year old gelding who suffers from chronic arthritis.
Joey is our thoroughbred who sustained a suspensory injury that was never properly rehabbed.
Both received full magnawave sessions, cold laser treatments and X49 patches on their specific injuries.

We have started incorporating these patches in our wellness sessions because they provide PHENOMENAL results with reducing inflammation, providing drug free pain management and increasing the cellular level in the affected areas.

Joey is a six-year old Ottb that’s sustained a rear suspensory injury while in training on the track. We were told he was rehab and the scar tissue that was present was not going to cause any issues. When he first arrived, we had him looked at by our vet who cleared him to go into work. We recently started him back into a training program and his right hind leg became super swollen.
Upon another evaluation and further ultrasounding, we established that he never was properly rehab for the suspensory injury. We decided to go ahead and do a proper rehab and get him more comfortable and give his suspensory ligament the proper care he never initially received.
Today we are starting his rehab journey. He will be receiving daily cold, laser, therapy treatments, and low intensity. PEMF treatments to really promote a speedy recovery..
He is the sweetest boy who deserves to enjoy more out of life than being in pain and having constant discomfort because people who owned him before didn’t take the proper measures for him. We are going to do everything we can to give him a fighting chance.

Research shows that horses possess a remarkable ability to read human body language and emotions.
Here is how they connect with us:
They read your face: Horses can recognize human facial expressions and easily distinguish between a happy face and an angry or stressed one.
They remember your mood: If a horse sees you looking angry, their heart rate actually increases, and they will remember that negative emotion the next time they see you.

Lunging day for Joey 🐴
Our goal with lunging with the neck stretcher is to allow him to figure out his balance and figure out accepting the bit by himself. Doing this once or twice a week really helps the horse start to understand how to manage their body independently. No interference from riders. Even though we can manage him while we ride, he truly learns to figure out his own body with lunging. He does not get to rely on my leg and body holding him together.
I love watching them go from circles that are oddly shaped to forming true circles as they begin to start using there bodies to balance. This makes your ride time less of a “fight” since they already understand the basis of what you are asking because you have accomplished it on the ground.
Good ground work = better results while riding
