Found this in my archives and I need to know if I should cut my hair this short again π€
P.S. I am still sleeping like a baby!
I loved breastfeeding during that time but I am not interested in going back.

What does it mean to be consistent?
When there are so many articles, videos, influencers, and more out there telling you when you SHOULD be doing. It can be easy to think you need to do it all. But let me tell you, you really only need to be consistent with the basics. And even consistency can
look different from person to person.
The things a single 25 year old with no kids can do consistently are probably not the same things you can consistently do with 3 ferral kids and after school ativities. So don't worry about trying to be like everyone else, focus on being consistent in what
you can do!
At this point I just accept that it will never all be clean at the same time π€·ββοΈ

Insane Facts about PREGNANCY PART 2!!
How freaking crazy is this!?
If you didn't think a woman's body was awesome before, how about now!
Please do not fall victim to this.
It is easy to scroll on social media and find someone who has lost over 100 pounds (that is amazing for them!) but if you are following them and you suddenly see them promoting their new fitness guide that was created to help you lose 100 pound too... RED FLAG π©
What suddenly makes them qualified to teach you?
How do you know they aren't hiding something behind the scenes (glp, crazy diet, surgery, etc.)?
Would you have trusted them prior to their transformation?
Experience means something but it doesn't mean you should give them your money when there are 1000s of way more qualified coaches out there with actual certifications that can provide real sustainable solutions for what you are looking for.
Final thing, would you hire a financial advisor that kinda understands finances and has seen some success. Or would you hire a financial advisor that has done the schooling, has the experience, understands the market, and can give you a personalized path to help you reach your financial goals?

My least favorite question postpartum is, "how did you bounce back so fast?"
I know the only reason I am asked this question is because every time I give birth I am immediately within 5-10 pounds of my pre pregnancy weight. But I can be the first to say that does not mean I bounced back!
Infact I STRUGGLED mentally every single time. I had days where I felt like I couldn't function. Where I cried due to being overwhelmed, anxious, irritable all at the same time. I would struggle to concentrate and think clearly. It was like living in a blur at times.
So no I didn't bounce back just because I was considered "skinny" after giving birth. Instead I was forced to face a hurdle that I've been working through for over 4 years now and with each pregnancy it gets worse and worse.
So please, the next time you think about using the term "bounced back" just don't.
Rehab IS exercise.
Exercise is NOT rehab.
Let me explain...
If you give birth and decide to hit the gym 2 weeks postpartum doing exercises such as deadlift, bench press, box jumps, sit ups, etc. You would be exercising but it would not be doing your body any favors. More than likely you would be prolonging the recovery period and increasing your chances for injury.
Now if you are 2 weeks postpartum and working with a postpartum coach (me π€) or a physical therapist that specializes in postpartum, we understand what your body has gone through and the types of exercises that are necessary to help you rehab from giving birth.
Exercises such as body weight glute bridges for pelvic floor, breath work, and transverse abdominal exercises for diastasis recti are all examples of everyday exercises but are suggested in ways that promote healing and recovery after birth.
Take the time to enjoy stretching.
Static stretches (the ones where you hold the stretch without moving) are best to do at the end of your workout. This helps to elongate the muscles that were shortened during the workout. And are most effective if held for 15-30 seconds.
Static stretching is also an easy task that can be incorporated into the margins of your day to day life. When watching tv, while the kids are playing in the bath (obviously still supervised), before bed, or while waiting for a toddler to do any task by themselves.
