Count Yogi, the most outstanding golf exhibitionist in the world, came to Cartersville prior to the grand opening of the local Country Club in 1955 to not only play a game, but to make golf balls do all sorts of tricks. His real name was Harry M. Frankenberg, but Hollywood gave him the name Count Yogi. Apparently he was banned from the PGA because of his unconventional style.
