Life 2.0. 🫶🇮🇳
We’re home. And this time — for good.
The past 2 years were not just about planning a move. They were about building enough courage, enough stability, and enough inner clarity to make a decision this bold — and not look back.
When I moved to the USA in 2019 on a dependent visa, my mind and my life were fogged with uncertainty and depression. I didn’t arrive with confidence. I arrived with questions I didn’t even know how to ask yet.
And for 7 years — I fought. I tried every possible way to beat the odds, to find my ground, to come out stronger. And I did. I am so deeply grateful for what America gave me. It made me mentally unbreakable. It showed me — in the hardest way possible — what life can become when your mind finally aligns with your purpose.
But there were things America could never fix.
The loneliness that sits with you even in a room full of people. The anxiety that never fully leaves your chest. The quiet grief of missing your family on ordinary days — not just festivals, not just birthdays, but just ordinary Tuesday evenings when you wish your people were close.
Those things don’t go away with time. They just get heavier.
So we chose peace. Consciously. Boldly. Without apology.
And here we are — back to our home country, back to our people, back to a life where my mind can finally exhale.
My story may not be yours. My reasons may not resonate with everyone. But this is what I know — no amount of opportunity is worth a lifetime of quiet longing. And choosing what gives you real peace, choosing what keeps your family together, choosing what makes your soul feel at home — that is never the wrong decision.
