On the Move Riders Program connects you to new friends who can teach you about going Metro. On the Move Riders Club has groups throughout Los Angeles County.
Learn from peers who know the ins and outs of getting around on public transportation – then take a test ride together. Club activities are tailored to each group, and can range from group sightseeing trips to one-on-one training for outings to the store, to the doctor or anywhere else you want to go. Our Weingart Club was on the move this month, traveling via Metro Los Angeles to the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum. The club members enjoyed the screening of "Titans of the Ice Age 3D" and watching volunteers clean and conserve fossils in the Fossil Lab.

Our Osher Lifelong Learning Institute - OLLI at CSUDH Club was on the move this month, traveling via Metro Los Angeles to the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum. The group walked along Wilshire, then checked out the art along the new D Metro Purple Line Extension.

Our Pasadena Club was on the move in May, traveling via Metro Los Angeles to museum row off the new Wilshire/Fairfax D Line Station. The group visited the new David Geffen Galleries at LACMA Los Angeles County Museum of Art, had coffee at Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, and lunch at Peterson Museum Los Angeles.
