We play hard, and we study hard
Thought this one deserves its own post. Just got back the test scores from the boys recent state test, and I couldn’t be any happier.
One got 98% on both ELA and Math, and the other, even better, got a perfect score on both 😳
So proud of you boys!

A perfect mix of 3LHPs and 3 RHPs
But what more important is the Dodgers potential line up in a 7-games series, after the trade
SP: Yamamoto, Skubal, Snell, Shohei
“Reliever”: Wrobo, Glasnow, Roki, Sheehan, Lauer, Scott
Closer: Diaz, Vesia
The entire bullpen can be a whole SP line up for other teams.

A few comments have suggested the towel drill for Liam and Lucas, so here it is. It seems like a very good and popular drill, and I think it helped them a lot in term of identifying and practicing the release point of their pitching. Thanks everyone!
Time for Lucas to take the mound and find his own rhythm
Being on the mound can be lonely and tough at times. So besides skill training, as a dad, I want to also teach my boys how to calm down and get themselves back into their rhythm. And I think sometimes we don’t have to overly or micro-managing our kids. Just give them the tool, teach them the method, and trust that they can find their way back to their trueself.
Sometimes it’s not about the practice nor the drill, but it’s all about the kids having fun. And I still need to distinguish the difference between “pitch” and “throw” 🤦♂️🤦♂️
And here comes Lucas, the righty
