Hey guys, come with me for another Tuesday morning hitting session before school.

This morning wasn’t about doing something new, it was about showing back up and building on yesterday’s work. We stayed focused on velocity training, attacking inside pitches, and staying disciplined through outside pitches while working the machine at 29 feet at 55 miles per hour.

I’m learning that development isn’t always about big changes. Sometimes the biggest growth comes from repeating the right habits until they become part of who you are. What’s something you’ve had to stay consistent with lately?

Today’s focus was:
• Velocity work
• Hitting inside pitches
• Hitting outside pitches

For velocity, we worked with the machine at 29 feet and 55 MPH, which gives us reaction timing similar to about 82 MPH game speed. For that, we used the Easton Ronin slow pitch bat to challenge timing and barrel control.

Then we moved into inside and outside pitch work using soft toss with the 2026 Easton Ghost Unlimited and the 2026 Easton Ghost Advanced.

Working with the Slide MVP (108 series) today and it honestly made me feel more confident attacking the bases. 🥎🔥

I liked how it helped me focus on staying low, sliding with better control, and not being afraid to be aggressive on the field. Every rep reminded me that getting better is about being willing to learn, adjust, and keep working even when it feels uncomfortable at first.
