There’s something interesting happening when you play the Pickaso Rotary Bow near the bridge. On the 1st string open, it sometimes sounds like bagpipes, while on the 2nd string open, it sounds more like a violin. What does it remind you of? Share your thoughts below!

Developing the butterfly cover that creates the Tremobow effect went through many iterations. When you pick a string, there is always a slight attack sound. Normally it’s barely noticeable, but when you place a pick on a spinning wheel, it becomes very pronounced. Our goal was to achieve an effect similar to the Gizmotron, but more acoustic, blending bow and pick in a hybrid way.
If you look closely at the Gizmotron wheel, it is small, made of quite rigid silicone, and has tiny teeth. It works when mounted in a fixed position on electric guitar, but going acoustic and hand-held introduces many challenges! 😄
We tested dozens of pick shapes, even the ones that seemed unusual, experimenting with materials, hardness, thickness, shapes, size, and angles. After a lot of trial and error, we finally found the right combination that produces a unique and beautiful sound.
There is still room for improvement, but we are very happy with the results. At this stage, we are eager to hear from you, our customers. We can’t wait to finally send the preordered bows. With your comments and feedback, we will make them even greater! ✨

The potential of interchangeable designs is truly endless. We’re planning new covers to unlock more sound textures and expand creative possibilities. What’s coming next?
