Often overlooked and never truly appreciated, the hotwheels would not be what it is without you ! Happy Birthday to the one and only.

Los LA Hotwheels queremos tomarnos un momento para desearle un muy feliz cumpleaños a alguien muy especial para nosotros. Max Amenero. Teminaron los nacionales, nos queda la sensacion de que se pudo haver llegado lejos sabiendo "que mas vale calidad que cantidad" y por ahi como entrenadores, directivos fallamos en algunas decisiones, pero a la vez nos sentimos orgullosos y felices de ver que casi la mayoria puso el 100% de esfuerzo y eso hace que esta experiencia sea notables y a la vez de mucho aprendizaje, queremos agradecer a nuestros patrocinadores por siempre creer en nosotros como equipo, tambien agradecer a los integrantes de nuestro equipo que tomaron con seriedad y responsabilidad este compromiso.

The National Championships have come to a close. We are left with the feeling that we could have gone further—bearing in mind that "quality trumps quantity"—and perhaps, as coaches and administrators, we fell short in certain decisions. Yet, at the same time, we feel proud and happy to see that the vast majority of the team gave 100% effort; this is what made this experience truly remarkable and, simultaneously, a tremendous learning opportunity. We would like to thank our sponsors for always believing in us as a team, as well as our team members who approached this commitment with such seriousness and responsibility.

Tuvimos una experiencia muy positiva este fin de semana en Ogden Utah con nuestro equipo de D3. Ganar 4 de 5 juegos y uno de esos triunfos fue contra un equipo de Division 2 es muy reconfortante y positivo. El reconocer que jugando buena defensa te hace ganar juegos y la disponibilidad de jugar como equipo dejando del lado el egoismo para elevar el juego colectivo hace que el trabajo de los entrenadores sea productivo y placentero.

We had a very positive experience this weekend in Ogden, Utah with our Division 3 team. Winning four out of five games, one of those wins against a Division 2 team, is very encouraging and positive. Recognizing that playing good defense wins games and the willingness to play as a team, setting aside ego to elevate the collective game, makes the coaches' job productive and rewarding.
