(East Los Angeles, CA) : Attention to all of our Rams fans! Back on April 20th, the team opened 2026 with Phase 1 of their early-off-season voluntary meetings, physical rehabilitation, and strength-and-conditioning sessions at their Woodland Hills Training Facility. It also gave credentialed media covering the team access to six very seasoned players during a scheduled availability session.
Here's a quick overview of the three phases of advance preparations: The initial workout phase finished on May 1st. Phase 2 started on May 4th and lasted three weeks until May 22nd. Organized Team Activities (OTAs) on the field began with Phase 3 on May 26th and will run for four weeks, covering all 10 voluntary OTA practice days. This last phase concludes with the team's Mandatory Minicamp on June 15–16.
However, on the first day of the 2026 voluntary workouts, the available players included Steve Avila, Quentin Lake, Kam Curl, Tyler Higbee, Kobie Turner, and Kyren Williams.

(East Los Angeles, CA) : At this time of year, most Rams fans are aware that all 32 NFL franchises are team-building and, in a certain sense, competing to be the best for their cities and fan bases.
And as the 2026 season awaits its official start with Training Camps opening in the summer, the Rams already drew considerable attention on June 1st from NFL experts, insiders, media, coaches, players, and Rams fans. This is obviously due to their major trade with the Cleveland Browns, which acquired 5-time First-Team All-Pro Defensive End and edge rusher extraordinaire Myles Garrett. In exchange, they traded away the highly popular and talented outside linebacker Jared Verse and three future draft picks.
This has definitely created a strong, positive "buzz" that fans will be discussing as the Rams prepare for their official training camp, starting in mid-to-late July. Learn more about this significant Myles Garrett move in the team's official press release.

(East Los Angeles, CA) : With the WNBA now expanding to 15 teams, all organizations participated in pre-season player personnel and team training modes. The L.A. Sparks management, coaching staff, and players remained very busy throughout April preparing for the upcoming 2026 season launch.
The front office was busy assembling the roster for training camp at the University of San Diego. This included signing key players such as returning legend and 2016 WNBA MVP, Nneka Ogwumike, extending the contracts of Kelsey Plum, Dearica Hamby, and Rae Burrell, acquiring Ariel Atkins via trade, and re-signing Erica Wheeler for a second stint. Their efforts aimed to ensure the team was ready in time for the two pre-season games on their schedule.
They recently played the Nigerian National Team, defeating them on Saturday, April 25th at Viejas Arena in San Diego, on the campus of San Diego State University, by the final score of (89-63).
