Had fun focusing on Authentic Reads vs. Cartoony at the SAG-AFTRA Conservatory Intensive. Gotta keep those skills sharp!

Happy Monday! Hope you find lots of inspiration this week and leave yourself open for new things. This past week I worked on a demo, a short film and two songs. The biggest surprise for me is that I sang back-up on the songs. Although I'm on everyone's cartoons and demos (in the background) singing was a first for me. I loved it! Add that to my check-list of fun experiences :)

I'm having a '90's flashback. There were some really good cartoons back then. Do you know "The Tick?" Very funny superhero - one of my favorites (thanks Townsend Coleman).

And yesterday I watched a few episodes of "Rocko's Modern Life" which is so chalk full of VO celebs I can hardly stand it - Tom Kenny, Carlos Alazraqui, Charlie Adler - a who's who of vo actors. I watched one episode that was written and directed by Stephen Hillenburg (creator of Spongebob) and the second episode was directed and written by Dan Povenmire (Phineas and Ferb, Hamster & Gretel).

It's really interesting to note that everyone has gone on to many other shows. I'd like to remind you of this why? Because I'm always telling vo actors that our biz is a LONG GAME. I'd say this proves what I mean bigly so settle down and enjoy the ride!
