Good balance gives you control, cleaner contact, efficient power, and better accuracy. Here is your quick guide to mastering balance from setup to finish:

🔹 Setup: Center your weight evenly between your feet, keep knees slightly bent, and maintain a natural spine angle. Avoid leaning too far on heels or toes!
🔹 Backswing: Rotate smoothly while keeping your lower body stable—avoid excessive lateral movement or swaying.
🔹 Weight Shift & Impact: Smoothly transition weight from your back foot to your front foot. Prioritize solid, controlled contact over maximum power.
🔹 Stable Finish: You should be able to hold your finish comfortably! Falling backward or stepping sideways is a sign of off-balance weight transfer.

🚫 Common Mistakes: Swaying away from the target, standing too upright, over-swinging for distance, and finishing off-balance.

💡 Pro Tips: Practice half-swings at slower speeds to build control, and strengthen your core and legs off the course with single-leg stands, lunges, and planks!

1. Fix Your Backswing Plane 📐
Grip cross-handed or put the club handle against your belly button during short practice turns to keep your arms connected and on-plane.

2. Turn Your Shoulders Right 🔄
Hands on hips, turn your body to look behind you, then turn only your head back to the ball. This creates space to drop the club inside on the downswing!

3. Square the Clubface 🎯
Set up with a 2–3 knuckle grip. On short waist-high swings, let your lead arm naturally rotate so the clubface points toward the ground after impact.

4. Swing Inside-Out 🏹
Bump your hips laterally toward the target before turning. Feel like you’re swinging 90° to the right to drop the club into "the slot."
