🌼Calendula🌼
A staple in my apothecary, calendula never ceases to amaze me. I love using it most for skincare, primarily as a redness and inflammation reducer for psoriasis and the lovely hormonal pimple/eczema combo that loves to show up at the most inopportune times! In fact, calendula is such an effective skin soother that I’ve been able to almost fully replace prescription creams with my own oil blends (starring calendula as the key ingredient, of course!). 🌿PEPPERMINT LOVE🌿
Peppermint is the 3rd in my top three favorite herbs! It may very well be my favorite due to it’s MANY different uses. I use peppermint for everything. Literally, I use it to clean with, I use it as aromatherapy, I use it for nausea and headache relief, and I use it in my spells and energy cleansing!
If you’re feeling an upset stomach or headache coming on, try diluting a few drops of peppermint with distilled water and rubbing it on your temples, or drinking peppermint tea. It may just do the trick!

I first learned about LIGHT MAGIC FOR DARK TIMES by at the (technically) perfect time, when I was living with my mom to help her with my nonna’s end-of-life care while also dealing with an all-time high of autoimmune and chronic illness symptoms. At the time however, I felt like I was just too overwhelmed to even press the order button. I felt extremely called to it again last week and finally pressed that order button, and it just arrived! I am SO excited to dive into this one. I have a feeling this is going to be a great resource 🤍✨

This is the face of someone trying to be productive while going through waves of cluster headaches and simultaneous fibromyalgia and psoriatic arthritis flare ups.
To my fellow spoonies: No matter how defeating chronic illness can feel, at the end of the day we are BADASSES for everything we endure on a daily basis (while also having to function in an able-dominant society)! Never forget that 💜✨
