Successful weekend for our U11 girls! Way to represent ETX while in Louisiana!

🏆 UNDEFEATED CAJUN CLASSIC CHAMPIONS!!! 🏆

Another tournament. Another championship. ZERO goals conceded. 🔒⚽️

These girls traveled to South Louisiana ready to PLAY. They battled through the heat, humidity and rain, left it all on the field, and are bringing another championship back to East Texas! 🪽🖤

Wishing our U11 team goodluck in their third preliminary game tomorrow! We are rooting for you guys from Texas! Keep up the good work and bring back the Gold! 🏆

Our girls came to PLAY today! They battled heat, Louisiana humidity and rain but they kept fighting and found a way to leave no question!

Two wins. Zero goals allowed.

Now we make one final push tomorrow morning at 10:40 AM for our spot in the FINALS tomorrow afternoon!

What a way to begin our story🩵🪽

Ascend Girls Soccer Academy entered the Bob Wiseman Memorial Tournament for our very first tournament as a club.. and all FOUR of our teams earned their way into the FINALS. 👏🏼

🏆 2012/13 — CHAMPIONS
🏆 2013/14 — CHAMPIONS
🥈 2014/15 — FINALISTS
🏆 2015/16 — CHAMPIONS

Three championships. Four finalists. One club. 🩵

Of course, we are incredibly proud of what these girls accomplished on the field, but one of our favorite parts of the entire weekend was watching our teams show up for each other.

Different age groups. Different teams. Same badge.

Seeing our girls on the sidelines cheering for one another, celebrating each other’s successes, and genuinely wanting to see every Ascend team succeed was exactly what we hoped to build when we started this academy.

This weekend was about so much more than trophies. It was about representing something bigger than ourselves and beginning to create the culture we want Ascend to be known for.

To every player, coach, parent, and family who battled the heat, supported these girls, and represented Ascend with so much pride — THANK YOU.

Our first tournament is officially in the books, and what a way to start!

What a way to start our very first tournament as Ascend Girls Soccer Academy.

All FOUR Ascend teams went 2/2 on Day One of the Bob Wiseman Memorial Tournament — giving our club an 8-0 record heading into Day Two! 🔥

U14 — 2/2 ✅
U13 — 2/2 ✅
U12 — 2/2 ✅
U11 — 2/2 ✅

Different teams. Different fields. One club. One standard.

Way to represent Ascend and begin writing the first pages of our story together.

There’s still work to do tomorrow.

But tonight, we’re pretty dang proud of this start. 🩵🪽

Today is a BIG day for Ascend Girls Soccer Academy — our first-ever tournament as a club! 🩵🪽⚽️

We want to wish the best of luck to all four of our teams competing in the Bob Wiseman Memorial Tournament this weekend!

Today was a special day! We had the privilege of presenting our 1st Place Split the Pot Raffle winner with a check for $4,197! 🎉

We also mailed our 2nd Place winner’s check and have made arrangements with our 3rd Place winner.

Congratulations again to Alex, Kelly, and Lucena! And to everyone in our community who purchased raffle tickets or helped support our fundraiser—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We are still in awe of the incredible support our community has shown. Your generosity is helping make a difference for our players, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
