The Orono Football program is dedicated to helping young people in grades 2nd through 12th to learn the fundamentals of football, while learning the value of teamwork and have fun doing it.

Spartan families, it starts tonight! Here’s everything you need to know for the kickoff of our August events. 👇

🏈 Youth Camp
Mon & Tues: Practice with Varsity Players (cleats & water bottles only—no pads/balls).
Wed & Thurs: Practice with Grade Level Coaches | Gear: 4th–6th grade in shorts/shirts all week. 7th–8th grade may need helmets/mouth guards Wed & Thurs

Grab key info for the season and ask questions before practice starts!

📱 Rosters & Communication
Check Crossbar by the evening of Aug 7th to see your player’s team, schedule, and team-specific communications!

🏈 First Practice
HELMETS & FITTED MOUTH GUARDS ONLY (Players need 3 practices in helmets/mouth guards before adding shoulder pads!)

Locations:
4th–5th Grade: Field 8 (Outfield behind Intermediate School)
6th–7th Grade: Field 9 (Between Fields 8 & 10 along Wayzata Blvd)
8th Grade: Field 10 (Football field behind Intermediate School)

First Spartan Kick-off Tailgate & Fundraiser was a true success! Thanks to all that organized, volunteered and came to enjoy the night to support the Spartan Football team! Thanks to Everly Farms Minnesota for having us and thanks to Frank Landis for the great shots as always!
