A few years ago, the life I thought I was building fell apart. Here’s what I found on the other side.

Hi👋 For the new faces here, I’m Laurice.

I walked beside my husband through his battle with ALS and then through the grief of losing him. That journey broke apart beliefs I had carried for years - that control could keep me safe, that holding it all together meant I was strong. Learning to let those go didn’t just get me through it. It became the path to something I hadn’t expected: peace, purpose, and a strength that felt truer and more mine than anything I’d built before.

That’s the work I do now. I’m a Certified Empowerment Coach, speaker and author of Raising Hope. I help women reconnect with who they are beneath the fear, people-pleasing, perfectionism, heartbreak and self doubt - all the ways we learn to lose ourselves along the way.

I don’t teach a harder kind of strong. I teach a softer way to powerful - one built on self-trust, self awareness and the courage to come home to yourself, to stop editing yourself for everyone else’s comfort.

Today, through coaching, speaking, workshops, and countless honest conversations, I help women break old patterns and step into lives led by intention instead of fear.

My mission is simple: to help you remember that the strength you’re looking for has been within you all along.

Not everyone will understand your choices.

Rest.

We live in a world that praises constant doing, proving, fixing, and pushing.

But healing happens in the pause.
Clarity comes in the quiet.
And self-trust is built when you learn to listen to what you need instead of demanding more from yourself.

Because even the strongest souls need a place to rest.

Strength isn’t always found in the next step forward.

Sometimes it’s found in the exhale.
