We truly appreciate every business that was willing to donate, as well as all of our amazing family and friends who supported our girls. Your generosity and encouragement mean so much to our team!

Meet our Captains! 🖤💛🏴‍☠️

We are so excited to introduce the girls who will be helping lead our Lockport Middle School Dance Team and Cheer Team this season!

These girls have worked hard to earn their leadership roles, and we can’t wait to watch them set the example, encourage their teammates, bring the school spirit, and represent our Pirates all year long.

Our 8th Grade Cheer and Dance Team members proudly welcomed and assisted our younger classmates by helping them find their schedules and ID tags.

Thank you, ladies, for dedicating your time, leading by example, and making the day a little easier for so many students. Your kindness, leadership, and willingness to serve are what being a Pirate is all about. We are so proud of you!

🖤💛 What a weekend for the Lockport Middle Pirates Dance Team! 🏴‍☠️

Our Lockport Pirates Dance Team proudly participated in the 2026 American All-Star Dance Camp at Nicholls State University this past weekend. Throughout camp, these dancers demonstrated determination, commitment, outstanding work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow with every performance and routine.

Their hard work paid off with some incredible accomplishments:

We couldn’t be prouder of everything these girls have accomplished this summer. They accepted every challenge, supported one another, and represented Lockport Middle with pride and class.

The future is bright for this team, and we can’t wait to see what this season has in store.

Our community truly showed up for our girls at yesterday’s Show-Off, and we couldn’t be more grateful! 💛🖤

Thank you to everyone who took the time to come out, cheer them on, and help send them off to camp with so much love and support. We wish our dancers the best of luck as they head to Nicholls this weekend! They’ll be learning new routines, building their skills, making memories, and competing alongside some of the best middle schools in our area as they prepare to entertain our community throughout the upcoming season.

A very special thank you to Jolie Cadeau Boutique for creating all of our camp wear. Your generosity, hard work, and attention to detail helped ensure our team looks its very best. We are so thankful for your support!

That’s a wrap on Summer Cheer Camp for our cheer team! 📣

Our Lockport Middle cheerleaders spent a week earlier this June, competing alongside talented middle school teams from across the parish, and they represented our school with incredible pride, determination, and Pirate spirit. We couldn’t be more proud of all they accomplished!

🏆 1st Place – Camp Routine (Large Division)
🥈 2nd Place – Cheer (Large Division)
⭐️ Overall Game Day Champions
📣 7 All-American Cheerleaders
