𝐊𝐑𝐔𝐙 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐓! 🏁🏆
We made a few changes to the car tonight at Kam Raceway, and we may have finally found a sweet spot! Kruzer was FAST and consistent from start to finish.
He crossed the checkers in P2, but after the feature, officials made the call to dock the winner for a jumped start rather than restarting the race from the initial start. That moved Kruz to the top spot and gave him his FIRST JR. SPRINT WIN!
Not exactly how we pictured his first win coming, but we’ll absolutely take it! Kruz put himself in position to capitalize, and we’re incredibly proud of the way he raced tonight.
And a huge shoutout to the #1 — he had an incredible race and continues to be the class of the field. We have so much respect for him and his team, and we’re looking forward to plenty more battles between these two!
The rain rolled in immediately after the feature, so we didn’t get the typical Victory Lane photo… but honestly, a rain-covered race car sitting in the trailer after a WIN is still a pretty cool sight.
We truly can’t say THANK YOU enough to the incredible people who continue to support our kids and their dreams. This wouldn’t be possible without you!

Qualifying: P2
Heat Race: P3 ➡️ P4
Feature: DNS
Kruz put together a solid qualifying effort, turning a 13.338-second lap to qualify P2 in his group.
The invert placed him 3rd for the heat race. On the initial start, Kruz got a tremendous launch and quickly moved into 2nd before the start was called back. After lining up again, he didn’t get quite the same jump and settled into 3rd. He held his position for most of the race, but with two laps remaining, he drifted a little too high and surrendered a spot, bringing home a 4th-place finish.
The night’s points lined him up to start 3rd in the feature. Unfortunately, while sitting on the grid, the car refused to fire. The crew worked quickly to diagnose the issue, but we weren’t able to get it resolved before the race started, ending Kruz’s night before it ever got underway.
While it’s never the way you want a race night to end, that’s all part of the learning process. We’ll get the issue sorted out, regroup, and come back stronger next time. The speed continues to be there, and we’re excited to keep watching Kruz gain experience and confidence every time he hits the track.
Thank you to those who help make his goals achievable:

My dad and Shawn accomplished some work on the micro sprint over the weekend. 💪🏼
They installed safety bars and the frame is ready to be sent out for sand-blasting and powder-coating. The future is looking bright 🤩

Heat Race: P2 ➝ P1
Feature: P2 ➝ P2
Kruz wasted no time in the heat race, taking command from the drop of the green and never looking back—securing his second heat race win of the season with a smooth and dominant drive.
In the feature, he again jumped out front early and settled into a strong rhythm, clicking off consistent laps while navigating cleanly through the opening circuits. As the field approached halfway, Kruz began encountering lapped traffic. After last week’s run-in with a lapped car, he approached the situation with a bit more caution, which unfortunately allowed second place to close in and make a pass for the lead.
Still, Kruz showed resilience—closing a 1.3-second gap to just 0.594 seconds by the checkered flag.
He’s showing impressive speed and maturity, proving that even a small bump in the road can’t hold him back for long. We’re proud of his continued progress and excited to see what’s ahead.
Kruz will be off next weekend (August 1) as he supports his dad, who’s competing in the High Banks 305 Nationals at the legendary Belleville High Banks.
