📣 CHEER SEASON UPDATE! 🦁🤍🖤

We’re going to do things a little differently this year!

Before the official start of our cheer season, we will be holding “evaluations” for all of our cheerleaders. These are NOT tryouts, everyone makes a team! 🤍

Evaluations will simply give us a chance to see everyone before we officially get started. This will help us determine if we have enough cheerleaders to create two teams this season, or if we will remain one team as we have in the past.

Our goal is to create the best experience possible for all of our cheerleaders, and seeing everyone beforehand will help us figure out what team setup will work best!

📍 Please note: This season will be for LEVANT RESIDENTS ONLY.

We did explore the possibility of combining our program with Carmel Rec Cheer this year. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to make it work for this season, but we are hoping to revisit the idea and try again next year! 🖤

Cheer camp today 5-6!!!!! 📣📣

How is it that we only have 4 more sessions together?!?!? These kids are amazing and I can’t wait to show them off on the 8th! Save the date for our showcase, we will have a final “practice” 5-6 on August 6th then from 6-6:30 we will show off what we have learned!

Bows & Tshirts will be in soon! These should be worn on August 6th!

The radar is showing some nasty weather coming straight for us. For the safety of our athletes we have decided to cancel cheer camp tonight 7/14. To make up for our lost day we will add 30 minutes on to Thursdays 7/16 practice making it 5-6:30! We are bummed we can’t see everyone today, but enjoy the night off & stay safe!

We are crossing our fingers that the rain will hold off for camp tonight! A decision on if we will hold camp tonight will be made at 4, and you will be notified here & on BAND! If you have any other questions please let me know!

CHEER CAMP STARTS TOMORROW! 📣

Here are some reminders so everyone is prepared!

⏰Cheer Camp runs from 5-6, please arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time!

📍The rec fields are located on the Tay Rd in Levant! We are practicing outside.

📅Parents! We will have a parent meeting at the end of practice so we can make sure we get all the information to you guys!

💧There is a chance of rain in the forecast, the coaches are keeping an eye on it and will keep you updated!

☀️It’s going to be HOT. Please dress your child accordingly! AND apply sunscreen before practice!

🎒Your child should bring EXTRA water as well as sneakers (NO CHEER SHOES)!

💸 Make sure your sign up fee has been payed at the town office!

‼️If your child is signed up for camp but you are not in our BAND group, please message us!

We are so excited to have fun, learn new things, and make new friends! We will see you all tomorrow!

Today is the final day to sign up for our cheer camp that starts NEXT WEEK! Please make sure you have filled out the sign up form below & payed at the town office they are open from 9-4 today! If you’re unable to make it to the town office to pay, or have any trouble signing up, please message us!

Levant Rec is holding summer cheer skills camp! This is a 4-week program where we work on all skills for cheer, motions, tumbling, stunts, flexibility, technique, and so much more!
