We were privileged to attend the Silat seminar with Grandmaster Rick Ward in Boone. Even after all these decades, he still put most of us to shame in how well he moves.

Two Phases, One Path

Operation Joan of Arc is structured around two distinct developmental phases, because different seasons of life demand different approaches to growth.

The Foundation Phase (Ages 13 to 16) builds the core. Young women train in hapkido and introductory sword techniques, developing self-defense skills, situational awareness, mental discipline, and the physical confidence that carries through a lifetime.

The Leadership Phase (Ages 20 to 27) goes deeper. Training evolves into advanced tactical thinking, live blade work, and the kind of leadership principles that shape how a woman carries herself in the world. With greater skill comes greater responsibility, and this phase takes both seriously.

The growth is real. The community is real. The results are undeniable.
