🎃Language Lessons for the pumpkin patch🎃

🔘Vocabulary: pumpkin, gourd, scarecrow, corn, maze, patch, hay bale, wagon, etc.
🔘Compare/Contrast: pumpkin vs. gourd, size, shapes, and colors of pumpkins, crows vs other birds, etc.
🔘Sequence: life cycle of a pumpkin, pumpkin carving/decorating, etc.
🔘Describe: size, color, shape, function, location, group/category, similarities and differences of the objects seen

AACtually, all communication matters 💚

🧩 Interesting… creating sentences is a lot like working a puzzle. You have a good idea of what it should look like, but it takes time and practice to know which pieces fit best. In time, it’ll get easier to see how the pieces fit together for the bigger picture.
