📣 CUSD #20 IS HIRING SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS! 🚌
CUSD #20 is currently seeking dependable, safety-minded individuals to join our transportation team and help safely transport our students each day.

📍 NEW THIS YEAR — BUSRIGHT!
CUSD #20 now uses BusRight, a driver-friendly routing and navigation system. Each bus is equipped with a securely mounted tablet that provides the assigned route, student stops, and spoken turn-by-turn directions so drivers do not have to look down or handle the device while driving. The system is designed to assist drivers while allowing them to keep their attention where it belongs on the road and the students they are transporting.

ILLINOIS SCHOOL BUS DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with an “S” endorsement, or willingness to obtain one
• Pass required written and driving examinations
• Complete required physical, drug screening, background check, and state-required training
• Permits are renewed annually and require updated training, drug screening, TB skin test, and physical

Happy Belated IT Appreciation Day to Brandon Stewart!

Although we may have missed the official day, we certainly don’t want to miss the opportunity to recognize Brandon and thank him for all he does for CUSD #20.

Brandon plays an important role in keeping technology running smoothly throughout our district. From troubleshooting issues and answering questions to supporting our staff and maintaining the systems we rely on each day, his knowledge, patience, and willingness to help are greatly appreciated.

We are very fortunate to have Brandon as part of the CUSD #20 team and are thankful for the time, effort, and dedication he gives to our students, staff, and schools.
