Sound off!! Vivi Edwards led a very successful officials clinic in Conway, AR. We are getting close to the start of a new Folkstyle season and we are working to be better for our Arkansas athletes, coaches and parents!

Just like wrestling, it’s all about getting the reps in to get better!

Stay tuned as we share the changes to NFHS and the new Stalling mechanics and philosophies.

This is why I love our officials association… Cause even on a Friday morning when a few of our up-and-coming officials have not been able to make one of the clinics because of military or work duties… We have lunch, practice and learn in my living room! Kaylea Brooks

Every wrestling season, thousands of matches happen across the state… and every single one needs someone in the middle of the circle who knows the rules, stays calm under pressure, and cares to get the call right!

— COMMON QUESTIONS —

❓ Do I need wrestling experience to officiate?
It helps, but it’s not required. Former and current wrestlers, managers, coaches, and even parents who just love the sport all make great officials. The clinic will begin to teach you what you need to know!

❓ What age groups can I officiate?
It depends on your age and certification level. You can get certified for Youth at 14+, and for High School at 18+. If you’re an adult, you can get certified to work both!

❓ Do I have to travel far?
Nope! Not if you don’t want to. You send us your availability (dates, distances, etc.), and we schedule you based on that. You choose when you work!

We are beyond proud to announce our first (with many more to come) United World Wrestling, UWW, Arkansas Official: Eric Dubowsky.

Eric completed his evaluation at the Senior Worlds Beach in Lima, Peru in June and is now licensed via the UWW as an international beach wrestling official.

Arkansas USA Wrestling Officials association works in conjunction with the United States Wrestling Officials Association (USWOA) to train officials for service in all styles at all levels. ARUSAW Officials support the youth Folkstyle and Olympic styles at home and abroad.

In the now infamous words of Eric Dubowsky, “the bus came by, I got on…” Reach out for more information on how you too can reach the international stage…the bus is coming by!
