I refuse to settle for an average life.

I want the mansion, the businesses, the investments, the exotic cars, the yacht, and the freedom to wake up every morning knowing I built it with my own two hands.

That's refusing to accept limits placed on my life.

Barker Nation Development Update

Over the last 15 years, I've invested more than $11,000 into building Barker Skateboards & Apparel. That number only tells part of the story.

What most people don't see are the thousands of hours spent learning, designing, rebuilding, deleting, starting over, and refusing to quit.

This website has been created, redesigned, and rebuilt more times than I can count. Life threw some incredibly difficult moments my way, including losing my fiancée, and there were times when I deleted everything because I simply wasn't in the right place mentally. Every setback forced me to rebuild from the ground up.

But every rebuild made Barker Skateboards & Apparel stronger.

Today, I'm doing something much bigger than creating a traditional skateboard website. I'm building an entire digital experience from scratch. Every interface, every page, every system, every dashboard, every member feature, every piece of functionality, and every interaction is being designed specifically for Barker Nation.

Custom software development on this scale can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in the professional marketplace. Comparable enterprise-level custom platforms with advanced interfaces, member systems, dashboards, custom integrations, and unique user experiences can easily reach well into the six figures, and in some cases even more.

I'm fortunate that I'm able to build this vision in a way that costs me far less than hiring a full development agency, but that doesn't mean it isn't expensive.

I'm still investing countless hours, countless revisions, and a significant amount of money into making this vision a reality. Every new feature requires planning, testing, coding, redesigning, and refining until it matches the standard I've set for Barker Nation.

This isn't a project that's thrown together overnight.

It's the result of years of learning...

Years of sacrifice...

Years of failures...

Years of rebuilding...

And years of believing in a dream that most people couldn't see.

There are days where progress feels slow, but every single update brings Barker Nation one step closer to becoming the platform I've envisioned for over a decade.

I'm not building a basic website.

I'm building an experience.

I'm building a community.

I'm building a headquarters.

I'm building a platform that I hope people will enjoy using for years to come.
