My first birthday without you here Dillon. I know they say the year of firsts is hard but I could never imagine how tough it’s been.
Your life seems to have been cut short here on earth but I know God had other plans for you.
I miss you everyday little brother. Until we meet again ❤️💔

With an 11 month old, I realize how important it is to take care of myself while I take care of her. Sunshine for the win ☀️

It’s been a very tough couple of weeks after losing my brother. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has reached out — your support, prayers, and kind words have truly meant so much to me and my family.
Dillon may have only lived 34 years, but his life was full of adventure, laughter, and unforgettable memories. I’m so grateful for all of the moments we shared together.
He will be missed dearly, but never forgotten. I love you, little brother 💔

💔 Dillon, 34 is too young. There are no words to make sense of a loss like this.
A brother isn’t just family — he’s memories, laughter, history, and a piece of who you are.
Hold your loved ones a little closer today and tell them how much they mean to you. Life can change in an instant. 🫶
Services will be held from 2:00-5:00 on Tuesday, May 5th with a celebration of life at 5:00 at Muehlig Funeral Chapel in Ann Arbor, MI.
In remembrance of Dillon, my family has set up a scholarship fund in his name at the University of Alaska. 9 months in, 9 months out ❤️
To be honest, I never really saw myself as the “mom” type (because I was very selfish). And even though motherhood has completely humbled me, I’m loving it and the roller coaster ride I am on!
A couple things I’d like to note:
1. The female body and mind are absolutely incredible.
2. I have a whole new level of respect for moms everywhere.
3. Finding or making time for yourself is hard to come by, but doing something for you is so important for your mental health.
4. These have been some of the hardest months of my life, but I would do it all over again for my amazing daughter, Madison.
The time is going way too fast, but I’m doing my best to soak it all in.
Here’s to another incredible nine months!

8 week postpartum pictures 🫶 (I am 11 weeks now, but didn’t have time to post and then I forgot if you know what I mean 😉).
I’m not trying to get my old body back, but rather seeing what my new mom body can do. ❤️💪🏻 Here we go!
