www.melaniekayepr.com I grew up in Ottawa and in order to see the bands I wanted I started booking them myself. Keep your name clean.

By the age of 15 I was doing a little bit of everything; publicity, promotion, and management. I have continued working as an independent freelance publicist specializing in the punk/ underground music scene but I love all kinds of music. My focus is more on making sure whatever I am involved with has a positive and inclusive message. Since 1999 I have been running Fat Wreck Chords Canada and have

Today I attended my daughter’s convocation at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she earned her BA. I couldn’t be prouder of her dedication, hard work, and determination.
When she was three years old, I told her she would have a choice in life: to work toward a good life or a difficult one. She chose the good life, and she has stayed true to that choice ever since.
Watching her receive her degree today was a proud and joyful moment. Good choice, sweetheart. Your dad and I and all of your family are so happy for you and proud of everything you’ve accomplished so far.❤️
