🎉 "Git 'er done" — and this week, we GOT 'ER DONE! 🎉

Big news for the Downey Bocce Club family! Our president Miguel Tamagno and club leadership sat down with Downey City Hall, the City Council, and the Mayor to make our case for renovating the bocce courts at Apollo Park — and they listened! 🙌

The city has agreed to let us move forward with gathering info and procuring contractor bids to resurface and renovate the courts. Now the real work begins — but we're not backing down. 💪

📢 CALLING ALL CONTRACTORS: We're looking for bids to resurface our courts, and we're deciding between two great options:
🔹 Distressed granite
🔹 Oyster shell

This is a community effort, and every tip, referral, and bid gets us one step closer to courts our club — and the whole city of Downey — can be proud of.
